Meet Michaela
Michaela Marr is a CAMT Certified Massage Therapist practicing in her hometown of Santa Cruz, California. Her environmental geography background translates to working with the topographic layers of the body. With respect to the same concepts we understand as shaping the land, these perspectives also apply to the structure of our bodies and how we can work with and tend to these pathways. Michaela's work is centered on supporting reproductive & digestive health by facilitating connection to these areas in an embodied way.

Frequently Asked Questions
How often should I receive massage?
Since this care is geared to be supportive, I will work within your capacity to receive. It is up to you to determine if you want to come in weekly, every other week, monthly, or a couple times a year. If you are looking for a recommended frequency of receiving bodywork services from me, that will depend on the modality you choose and what your goals for this work are, which we can discuss at your first session.
Do you accept insurance?
At this time I do not bill insurance directly or superbill. I plan to work with HSA and FSA in 2025.
Do you have sliding scale options?
Each month I make space for a limited number of sliding scale sessions on a case by case basis, please reach out to me directly. If I do not have the space or capacity to offer this for you at the time your reach out, I will do my best to recommend or connect you to the care you are looking for.
